The joint stock company brisk arose from the transformation of the state-owned enterprise jiskra in 1992. In consequence of privatisation in 1995 it has become a company with pure czech capital. From the very beginning its new management has been paying big attention to research and development, with focus on proportional development of individual product lines and investments in progressive modernisation.
The main line of business of the company is the production of spark plugs and glow plugs, which has been continuing since the foundation of the firm in 1935. From these products it was only a small step to the automotive diagnostics followed by the sensors for automotive industry.
Spark plugs and glow plugs are our well-known products which are delivered as spare parts to retail outlets as well as components to oems in over 56 countries. Their offer is regularly updated to reflect current trends. Each motorist can choose a spark plug or glow plug from the offered series according to the required specification. The offer includes a unique brisk premium spark plug, which cannot be get from any other manufacturer. Available are also spark plugs used mostly in the internal combustion engines mounted in various agricultural and forestry implements and machines. The products to be used as spare parts or oem's production are delivered via our trade and distribution network, which ensures their availability for all customers.
Since 1996 the company is the holder of the quality system certificates according to din en iso 9001, vda 6.1 and qs-9000, and, since 2000 also of the environmental management system certificate according to csn en iso 14 001. In 2003 the firm implemented a process approach to management, and is certified according to iso/ts 16949:2002.
